Random thoughts on Olympics, Sports, and T-Shirts

2012 London Olympics are over and count down started for Rio 2016 today.  Last three weeks have been great. Thanks to NBC that is on public air, I never watched so much beach volleyball in my entire life. By the gold medal game, I could tell a team playing very well and organized from the others.  What I learned is that this is not just a fun game played by women in bikinis but a game of strategy, talent, and hard work.  Water polo was equally interesting. I never knew there was so much pulling, pushing, and poking in any game. I though ice hockey was hard but I now think water polo beats it in the strength that you need to have. There are games that I still don’t get like synchronized swimming and artistic gymnastics. I guess you really have to watch them enough to learn what makes one better over the others – for now they all look equally good or bad to me.  After all those sports days, I am struggling to go back to watching summer golf but I must say I am grateful to the large variety of sports themed t-shirts at teesnthings.com to remind me the fun we had over the last three weeks. Here are a few that made me smile:

Humor to Go!

I was at an art festival recently where there were men, women, and children of all ages.  Many of those people wore a t-shirt, reminding me that it really is the most popular garment style. What was more interesting is that many of the shirts – regardless worn by men, women, children – had some sort of funny novelty design. We have many such designs at teesnthings.com. Here are a few to check out:
